01 · First screen
Home, the group’s front door
Visitors understand the organisation, its lines of work and the standard of excellence. Home does not stack thirty pages. It points to teams, useful spaces and action, with a direction held everywhere.
Must include
A clear promise, a map of the organisation and paths to useful pages
Must avoid
A catalogue of blocks that copies the whole site onto one page
The right test: within a few seconds you know which organisation you are dealing with, and where to go next.
02 · The framework
Governance, made readable
Boards, policies, org chart. A Corporate Site makes visible who decides, who publishes, and what stays internal. Governance is not a lost PDF. It is a page architecture.
Must include
A clear framework, named pages, one owner per space
Must avoid
Corporate jargon with no consequence for the visitor
If nobody knows who owns a page, it should never have existed.
03 · The people
Teams, made real
Trades, subsidiaries, careers. With more than 20 pages, you can separate worlds without isolating them. Each team has a space. None exists just to "pad the count".
Must include
Named roles, a useful contact, an owned photograph
Must avoid
A portrait gallery with no mission and no path to action
Visitors must know who they are writing to, not only that "the team" exists.
04 · The tools
Integrations, wired in
SSO, CRM, business tools. The Corporate Site does not live alone. It connects to what the organisation already uses, without overengineering, with a scope set from the briefing.
Must include
Useful connections, a readable data flow, a technical owner
Must avoid
Wiring everything "just in case", with no real use after go-live
An integration holds if someone still uses it the following month.
05 · Access
Rights, held firm
Spaces, roles, content. Who sees what, who publishes, who approves. A Corporate Site protects what must stay internal and makes public what should be, without mixing everything.
Must include
Simple roles, named spaces, a publishing rule
Must avoid
A permissions maze nobody dares to change
Better four held roles than forty checkboxes never reviewed.
06 · Action
Contact, portals that guide
Visitors already arrive with a trade, a subsidiary, a request. Forms sort (topic, volume, timeline) so the conversation starts in the right place, without an interrogation.
Must include
Useful fields, a response time and readable contact details
Must avoid
Twenty fields for a simple contact request
Every extra field must justify the friction it creates.
