For me, a useful referral starts with someone you already know. You can see why a Palmer Tech website, software product or platform would help them, and you pass on your code. You do not have to build the offer in their place.
Your role ends with that introduction. We scope the need, the quote and the build. Once the project is signed and paid, the 10% commission follows the code, on a basis that was stated up front.
The technology outlook
What matters to me is that a recommendation does not depend on a message found months later. The personal code ties the person referred to their referrer from the first contact. The 5% discount is written into the quote.
The commission is calculated on the signed project budget, after payment is received. You and we read the same basis. Follow-up does not depend on a reminder: the link is recorded when the code is entered.

The commission becomes due under the agreed terms, after the project is signed and Palmer Tech has actually collected the amounts concerned.
They only need to share your code at first contact. The discount is then built into the eligible quote.
